Imogen Mansfield nourishes a dimensionally rich model of practice, encircling writing, photography and film. Notions of enmeshment and permeability, in body, dream and environment, inform and motivate her work. Examining the subtle dynamics of thought, imagination and intimacy, her projects and research address and develop diverse impressions on concepts of impermanence and belonging.

Through exploring natures of mind and complexity within the living being, her indeterminate approach enriches an ambient and reflective body of work, valuing the mystery and encounter that lies both within and beyond the self. Imogen is currently developing multiple projects for art and cinema, alongside the quietly active daily practice of poetry and photography.
