The act of writing forms the intrinsic centre of Imogen Mansfield’s artistic practice, from which her work in photography, performance, and installation unfolds. Her process is guided by the resonant quality of encounter between self and place – exploring and composing of a language concerned with notions of permeability and enmeshment, wayfinding and pursuit.
